Venture X Announces Future Opening of Newest Workspace in Massachusetts

A new 15,000-square-foot Venture X workspace facility is under construction in the Apex Entertainment Center in Marlborough, MA, and will be the latest addition to the ever-increasing family of Venture X locations throughout the United States. Construction began in late July, and according to Ryan Gagne, franchisee owner of the nearly $1.5 million facility, an official opening is tentatively scheduled for early December.

“This is a perfect location for a Venture X shared workspace location,” commented Gagne. “There is a growing millennial population near the Apex Center, and coupled with ease of access, the location will provide young professionals an outstanding place to conduct business, network, and enjoy social activities. Many local residents who currently work in Boston will be attracted to the flexible membership options which will allow them to work closer to home and avoid the lengthy daily commute whenever they chose.”

Located within the sprawling work-play-live complex, there is an 80,000-square-foot entertainment center, which is home to numerous hospitality, entertainment, and service businesses, including nearly a dozen eateries. The complex also houses a pair of brand-name hotels, two gymnasiums, a bowling alley, a fitness center, a swim school, an entertainment center with go-carts, a golf simulator, and more. The shared office spaces will complete the vision for the Apex center to meet the business needs of members who will have amenities that include high- speed Internet service, conference rooms to hold weekly events, secure 24/7 keycard access, and office supplies and equipment. The member’s per-month tier pricing is based on community, virtual office, shared desk, and dedicated office space options.

“We will be occupying the entire top floor of the building and that will provide a picturesque landscape view of western Massachusetts,” commented Gagne. “A large portion of the office space will be able to enjoy majestic views of seasonal New England.”

United Franchise Group is noted for offering its brands tremendous resources and support—a key reason why Gagne chose to join them as a brand of choice. “Knowing the reputation of Venture X and the explosive growth it has enjoyed made it an easy decision for me,” he said. “Being new to a franchise-type business, I know that I can count on their support to ensure the success of this location.”

United Franchise Group Receives Coveted Presidential Award for Exports

Recipient of Coveted “E” Award Honored For Export Opportunities

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – May 21, 2018 – It was announced today by U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, that United Franchise Group, a South Florida-based company with more than 1,600 franchises in over 80 countries, is the recipient of the coveted President’s “E” Award for Exports. The President’s “E” Award is the highest recognition that any United States entity can receive for its significant contributions to the expansion of U.S. exports.

“United Franchise Group has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion, and the ‘E’ Awards Committee was very impressed with United Franchise Group’s sales of U.S. franchises in 17 foreign markets. The company’s development of export opportunities for its vendors was also particularly notable. United Franchise Group’s achievements have undoubtedly contributed to national export expansion efforts that support the U.S. economy and create American jobs,” said Secretary Ross in a congratulatory letter to the company announcing its selection.

The United Franchise Group is home to a variety of internationally recognized brands throughout the world. It is well recognized as a company that offers entrepreneurs solid business opportunities, provides them with excellent resources, and continually displays unprecedented leadership to help franchisees achieve their goals.

“We are extremely proud and honored to receive this prestigious award,” said Ray Titus, Chief Executive Officer. “Exporting is a very important and vital part of our sales, and buyers and consumers in foreign markets want quality products made in the United States. We have a passion to help people build and grow their own business, both domestically and internationally.”

In 2006, United Franchise Group’s Signarama brand, the world’s largest sign franchise, with 800 locations, became the first ever franchise to be recognized with the prestigious “E” Award.

In total, Secretary Ross honored 43 U.S. companies and organizations from across the country with the President’s “E” Award for their roles in strengthening the U.S. economy by sharing American ingenuity outside of our borders.

Companies are nominated for the “E” Awards through the U.S. Commercial Service, part of the Department’s International Trade Administration. With offices across the United States and in embassies and consulates around the world, The International Trade Administration lends its expertise at every stage of the exporting process by promoting and facilitating exports and investment into the United States; administering Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duties orders; and removing, reducing, or preventing foreign trade barriers.

U.S. exports totaled $2.33 trillion in 2017, accounting for 12 percent of U.S. gross domestic product. Exports supported an estimated 10.7 million jobs nationwide in 2016, according to the most recent statistics from the International Trade Administration.

About the “E” Awards

In 1961, President John F. Kennedy signed an executive order reviving the World War II “E” symbol of excellence to honor and provide recognition to America’s exporters. A criterion for the award is based on four years of successive export growth in one or more international markets.  For more information about the “E” Awards and the benefits of exporting, visit www.export.gov.

Venture X franchise opportunities for investors with hospitality experience

Can Co-Working Spaces Be Profitable Without Reaching Capacity?

Chances are that if you’re reading this, you’re considering opening your own co-working space business. You might be wondering, can co-working spaces be profitable without reaching full capacity? In short, the answer is yes! Much like ride sharing, shared office spaces have the potential to earn profit even when they are vacant.

can coworking spaces be profitable Venture X

Open Spaces vs. Private Spaces

One way that Venture X diversifies our profit is by offering a mix of spaces for our customers to choose from. We offer many available seats in our shared spaces where customers can grab a seat anywhere that’s open. These plans are designed for people who will come and go as they please without needing a dedicated space, allowing many of these spaces to be open to new clients every day. With plans from $40-$250 a month, these are affordable options for the many entrepreneurs in your community who don’t need dedicated office space. We earn a larger profit from the smaller number of customers who choose to rent dedicated desks and private offices. At rates over $650 a month, these higher value spaces allow for higher income opportunities. By offering this mix of spaces, Venture X franchises can easily turn a profit even if their spaces are not rented out each day.

Additional Services

One thing that sets Venture X apart are the additional services we offer at each of our locations. Designed to be comfortable modern spaces, our locations feature additional services such as cafes that customers can choose to take advantage of. These additional services translate into a new line of income that our franchisees can tap into. Schedule a visit to one of our locations if you’d like to get a better feel for some of the services we offer to our customers.

When you decide to open a co-working space with Venture X, you don’t need to worry about keeping your business at full capacity at all times in order to turn a profit. The flexibility of our business model along with the additional services you can build into your location will help you remain profitable without needing to maintain a full house. Request more info from us to learn more about how we help our franchise recruit and retain customers.

How Your Experience in Real Estate Can Transfer to Coworking Space Franchising

Identifying the Right Location

If you have worked in real estate, you probably have a good sense of your community and its development. When identifying a location for a Venture X, it is important to consider where your clients will want to go to work. For example, our Mississauga location opened its doors right in the city’s core, and close-by to Square One Shopping Center, a centrally-located work space that is convenient for commuters to access. Its proximity to Square One also ensures that plenty of foot traffic will pass by, exposing a wide audience to Venture X and the benefits it has to offer workers.

Finding the Right Space for the Right Client

In real estate, agents are tasked with finding just the right space for a variety of clients. They must take a range of factors into account, such as their needs and their budgets. At Venture X, we offer a range of options to our clients. Whether they are looking to reserve a shared desk or a private office, we have work spaces that are suitable for everyone. As a Venture X franchisee, you will be responsible for helping our clients find just the right fit for them.

Helping to Develop Your Community

Real estate agents help communities to grow by providing families and businesses with spaces to put down roots. Venture X offers an innovative take on this same idea, providing small and large businesses alike with flexible locations to work. One of the benefits of working from a Venture X coworking space is that businesses are given the unique opportunity to collaborate with each other in a shared space, leading to stronger connections between your community’s businesses. By helping entrepreneurs and other business leaders with a place to work, you are helping to develop the larger community you all share.

Multiple Levels of Privacy

Flexibility is one of the most attractive features of a coworking space, and the more flexibility you can offer, the more clients you will appeal to. Offering multiple levels of privacy is one of the ways you can appeal to a wide range of clients. At Venture X, clients can choose to reserve a shared space desk in a common area, a dedicated desk in a common area, or a private office that they can access at any time. These multiple levels of privacy ensure that there is a Venture X space that would be well-suited for every professional, whether they are a freelancer or part of a larger team.

Ongoing Support

The best way for business owners to handle the day-to-day hassles they might encounter is through a strong support team. When you choose to franchise with Venture X, you will have access to a strong support network that is well-equipped to assist our franchisees with any questions or problems they may encounter. With our 24/7 support system, our franchisees can take advantage of our help at any time. What could be more hassle-free than that?

Brand Recognition

One of the best ways to build a new business with as little hassle as possible is to choose to franchise with a well-established brand. When it comes to marketing, you will be able to enjoy a host of resources that already have been developed and tested. When it comes to attracting new clients, they will easily be able to identify your brand in their research, and you will enjoy the benefits of an already established reputation. Franchising with a well-established brand is one way that new business owners can avoid some of the hassle that comes along with building up a brand from scratch.

Why Coworking Space Design is Critical to the Facility’s Success

Regardless of if you own your own business or a franchise, your coworking space design may be imperative of its success. It is important that you consider these things when designing your coworking franchise to avoid having too much space for one type of customer and not enough for another.

Venture X franchises have perfected the concepts of shared coworking spaces by offering multiple levels of privacy and sharing to make sure every single customer has a customized workspace to fit their needs. Here are some design tips to consider to make your coworking space run smoother.

coworking office

Private Offices vs. Shared Space

People come to coworking franchises searching for different things. Some are looking for a small space to share with others, and others are searching for something much more private. It is imperative that the design of a coworking space has several private offices to offer customers as well as several desks for people to rent solely or to share. Venture X franchises offer multiple different options to cater to a wide variety of people looking for a space to work. In addition, Venture X also has conference rooms that members have designated time slots to use for whatever they may need.

Several people that are starting their companies from the ground up turn to coworking spaces to save money that can be invested elsewhere in their company while still having an official place to work. Venture X provides members with a mailing address as well so that they have a business address that is separate from their home.

Optimized Socialization

One of the key benefits that make people want to work in a coworking space is the idea of collaborating with people you would not work with otherwise and generate more diverse ideas. Venture X franchises do this frequently by offering shared desk spaces and community plans that are designed for productivity as well as collaboration and socialization.

Venture X has years of experience with coworking space design, which is why more and more people are investing in their own franchise. In addition to an optimal design, Venture X offers training and support, a recognized brand name, and a turnkey business model to adjust to your specific franchise.

Venture X franchises are cornering the market of coworking spaces, and now may be the best time to invest! Learn more about coworking space design and how Venture X may be right for you! Contact us to request more information.
